Here, on this page, I offer definitions of words (or phrases or 'initialisms') used elsewhere on my site. Often, these are sayings for which I can find no 'standard reference'...and sometimes that's
  because I made them up.
;-)

A 'watershed event' is a metaphor. It refers to a (or the) place (invariably a peak elevation) in a mountain range where runoff waters (from precipitation) flow down one side...or the other...of the mountain. And so, a 'watershed event' is one of great significance.

OUI=Operating (a motor vehicle) Under the Influence of alcohol

OMH=Oh My Heaven!

IOW=In Other Words

POV=point of view

To 'adjectivize' means to  perform the work of an adjective. It is, therefore, a verb...but one I have not found in a lexicon.
