you probably realize that there IS no such place as 'Lucey, Oklahoma'.
The Creationist Science Fair Web Site was, perhaps, the best parody ever...on or off the Web. It fooled lots of people, including the eminent pop-brain, Dr. Dean Edell! I was disappointed to find out that the creator of the Site (from 2001) had, alas, removed it! Likely he was tarred and feathered by the objects of his ridicule. I, and others, have ruminated that the credence so many otherwise discerning people lent to the Site reflects the fact that proponents of "Intelligent Design" are (and were) already on record as having said so MANY stupid things that, hey..."what's one or two more?".
The Site lives on by its many contemporaneous mentions in our Blogosphere. Let's hope that its "creator" (note small 'c') will someday reprise it for the edification of us all!
